FDI inflow of 2.7 billion dollars during January and February 2015 with over 70% coming from the EU countries with 325 new foreign funded companies established during the period, although a little down on last year’s figures. Still over 42,000 foreign companies are operating in turkey with foreign capital, and over 24, 000 based in Istanbul
